Meditation

A mental discipline, Meditation is a conscious decision to go beyond the reflexive thinking into a deeper level of awareness with a single point focus of reference. As a therapy, Meditation is used to bring about stress relief, inner peace and is used as a modality to reduce psychological issues. It has its roots in spiritual healing but modern alternate systems have incorporated the deep relaxation with controlled breathing that accompanies deep meditation to release stress, depression and a variety of negative emotions.
