A traditional Chinese mind-body relaxation technique, Tai Chi is an exercise routine with over 108 sequences that are performed in a slow dance like movement within 30 minutes. The traditional Chinese characters for Tai Chi are interpreted as ‘Supreme Ultimate Force’ or the duality and balance of male and female energy. Tai Chi is known as a meditative therapy with slow relaxed flowing movements known to tone muscles, calm nerves and promote energy balance. It also improves flexibility, agility and slows down aging. Another positive aspect is that it requires no specific clothing or equipment.
